A Photo Client costs $350 to install on your APF (A Photo Folio) website. We then connect your client site to an Amazon S3 (simple storage service) account that you setup (more information about S3 here) and pay for. We do it this way so you retain control over your images for life. They will always be accessible to you on your S3 account even if you no longer have a website with us. We also believe the Amazon S3 servers are the most reliable, secure and virtually fail-safe way to archive your photography online.

You can see the Amazon S3 pricing below but as an example: if you stored 100 GB of images and then uploaded 10 GB and downloaded 10 GB each month your bill would be around $18.

Most likely it will only be a couple bucks each month and here’s the really great thing about using S3: You pay zero if you’re not using it. Can’t say that about any web hosting.

Amazon S3 Pricing page is (here) and below, but I will tell you I have seen people charging $10 per GB of storage and Amazon charges 15 cents. Pretty amazing in my opinion.
